Cove Harbor

A practical harbor stop that complements the wetland sanctuary nearby with more open-water and marina-oriented birding.

Cove Harbor offers a different feel from North Cove's marsh boardwalk, focusing more on marina edges and open-water scanning. It is useful for pelicans, gulls, terns, and other everyday coastal birds, with the potential for winter diving species when conditions are right. Because it is close to the wetlands sanctuary, the two sites pair very naturally on the same route.
