Rockport Birding Sites Β· Site #32

Henderson Nature Site
A compact nature stop that works well for gentle birding, native-plant interpretation, and close-range views of common species.
Henderson Nature Site is especially good for tours that value accessibility and interpretation over chasing a long species list. The preserve-style setting and native vegetation make it easy to talk about habitat gardening, urban ecology, and the everyday birds of the Coastal Bend. During migration it can also produce enough variety to reward more dedicated birders.
