Rockport Harbor

A dependable winter harbor stop where deeper water can hold diving birds that are harder to find elsewhere in town.

Rockport Harbor is one of the better places locally to check deeper water for loons, mergansers, and other wintering diving birds. The harbor setting also makes it enjoyable for casual visitors, with boats, bait activity, and a very coastal sense of place. It pairs naturally with Rockport Beach and downtown stops, making it easy to build into a broader visitor itinerary.
